1. Set the Frame (2–3 minutes)
Invite curiosity and set boundaries before opening the floor:
“Thanks for being here tonight. I want to share a bit about my work with Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP). I’ll keep it simple, and then open it up for your questions. Please note: I can’t give medical advice, but I can share about the process and what it might look like as part of therapy.”
2. Core Talking Points (Keep it Simple & Consistent)
-
What is KAP?
KAP combines ketamine with psychotherapy in a safe, structured way to support healing. It’s a tool I use in my practice for clients who want deeper breakthroughs.
-
Who is it for?
KAP can be especially effective for depression, anxiety, PTSD, or for clients who feel “stuck” in therapy. It helps people process difficult emotions and gain new perspectives.
-
Why I Offer KAP
KAP can accelerate therapy progress, sometimes described as the “express elevator.” Personally, I’ve seen life-changing outcomes in clients. I partner with Journey Clinical’s medical team, who manage all medical aspects (eligibility, prescriptions, and safety).
-
How does it work in the brain?
Ketamine promotes neuroplasticity — the brain’s ability to form new connections. Imagine your brain as a ski slope: over time, thought patterns create deep grooves. Ketamine is like fresh snowfall, allowing you to carve new, healthier paths.

Safety
Ketamine is safe, legal, and on the WHO’s list of essential medicines. Common side effects are mild and short-lived (nausea, dizziness, dissociation). JC’s rigorous intake ensures only appropriate candidates are approved.
