We’re honored that you’ve chosen to participate in a Remote Group Peer KAP session. Please review this guide in full before your experience to ensure you are prepared and feel supported throughout the process.
Chaperone Requirement (Required)
For your Remote Group KAP session, you must have a chaperone physically present in your residence for the duration of your session.
Chaperone Responsibilities:
Remain in the same physical residence during your session
Be available to assist if needed (e.g., helping you to the bathroom, helping you connect with a facilitator 1:1)
Be reachable by phone throughout the session
Important Notes:
Facilitators will contact your chaperone ahead of time and at the start of the session.
If facilitators need to reach you during the session (including regarding a booster dose), they will call or text your chaperone.
If you need to speak privately with a facilitator but cannot rejoin Zoom audio, raise and wave your hand. The facilitator will contact your chaperone to connect you 1:1 via phone.
Action Steps:
Ensure your chaperone’s name and phone number are entered in your Journey Clinical patient portal.
Review the Journey Clinical Chaperone Guidelines prior to your session.

Integration After Your Session
Integration helps translate insights from your session into lasting change. While there will be a brief integration circle at the end of your session, we strongly encourage continued reflection afterward.
We have an integration workbook on the portal under Education & Resources!
Ways to Support Integration:
Eat nourishing foods and hydrate
Avoid alcohol and substances if possible
Journal (free-writing is encouraged)
Prioritize sleep — dream states support processing
Meditate (20 minutes morning and evening if possible)
Gentle movement (yoga, stretching, walking)
Commit to small, meaningful changes aligned with your insights
Practice daily intention-setting
Be compassionate and patient with yourself
Embrace the mindset: Surrender, Allow, Trust, Accept, Forgive
Using Your Second Dose
If you were prescribed a second dose, you have several options:
Option 1: “KAP for KAP” Peer Exchange

Option 2: Book Another Group Peer KAP Session
Join another facilitated group session.
Option 3: Get Matched with a Journey Clinical Therapist
Work 1:1 in a longer-term therapist-patient KAP relationship.
You can access all options directly from your patient account.
